Ekklesia Wednesday Evening Worship

Ekklesia is a more relaxed worship service that we hold on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 in the Westervelt-Warner Chapel. It is, as we say, a 'come as you are' type atmosphere. Jeans and a T-shirt? Come on in. Flip flops? Sometimes we preach in them. Suit and a tie? That's cool as well. We want anyone and everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable when they come to this service.

The service is normally led by our associates for campus ministry and youth/families, James Goodlet and Nick Reed and Kathy Wolf Reed. We also have an outstanding music leader, Kim Gentry (pictured left), who invites anyone to come and help her! We try to blend the service so we sing some more contemporary songs alongside traditional hymns... all of which are played by guitar(s), keyboard, and drum. It's a great time and space for worship.
