Patrick Laney

 

Rev. Patrick Laney has served as Associate Pastor for Youth and Family since June 1, 2006. An Alabama native, Patrick was born and raised in Gardendale until attending the University of Alabama and earning a degree in Mathematics Education. Prior to earning a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta, he served for two years as Interim Director for Youth and Christian Education at Government Street Presbyterian Church.

As God's mysteries continue to unfold, Patrick now serves in the same community where campus ministry shaped his call to ministry. Patrick's primary role at the church is to share in service with youth and their families. He also guides the church in local mission projects in the community and assisting those in need.

Patrick's greatest calling is as husband and father to a wonderful wife, Leigh Ann, and two children, Sera and Joshua. When he is not playing Barbies with his daughter or Hot Wheels with his son, he may be found watching whatever reality show his wife is watching. He also enjoys playing basketball, golf, and video games.
