First Presbyterian Preschool offers early childcare services to children ages 6 weeks – 5 years of age. Our early childhood program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Early childhood programs accredited by the NAEYC Academy have voluntarily undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study and improvement and met all 10 of the NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards. NAEYC Accreditation is the mark of quality education and care provided in programs for young children. Less than 10% of all childcare centers, preschools, and kindergartens nationally achieve this recognition.

As an outreach ministry of the First Presbyterian Church, the First Presbyterian Church Preschool is a coeducational Christian school which serves children ages six weeks through Pre-K/four years. Our mission is to provide a planned and developmentally appropriate program for the care, education, and nurturing of young children while facilitating their total development: cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual. We strive to provide the highest quality educational experience for preschool children within a climate of Christian love and acceptance.
